라크레센타 뒷동산 폭포수 /김인호 여행작가

한인들도 많이 거주하는 라크레센타 뒷편 터헝가 산속에 숨어있는 별천지가 있습니다. 한여름에도 시원한 물줄기가 쏟아지는 폭포인데요. 왕복 거리 약 5마일에 4시간정도 소요됩니다. 완만한 산길을따라 올르다보면 운무가 스며든 계곡 사이로 총천연색의 야생화들이 방문객들을 반겨줍니다. 갖가지 꽃들이 이름모를 들풀들과 함께 자라는데 너무 화려하지않아 등산길을 푸근하게 만들어줍니다. A special waterfall is hidden in the Tujunga Canyon behind La Crescenta, a neighborhood with many Korean-Americans. It's a waterfall that pours cool water even in the middle of summer, and it takes about four hours to hike the five-mile round trip. As you climb the gentle hiking trail, you'll be greeted by a spectacular array of wildflowers in a misty valley. Various flowers grow alongside the common wildflowers, but nothing too colorful, making the hike pleasant.
